AvantLink-Up Park City, Success!

Avantlink-up_Logo_PC_2019Back in late June this summer, we kicked off our new AvantLink-Up series in our beautiful hometown of Park City. It was held at the Skullcandy World HQ building, who was our advertiser network partner.

AvantLink-Up was created to provide a forum, typically with a primary vertical focus, where people in our affiliate marketing network get together and discuss current trends and strategies. Instead of a traditional “conference” structure, Link-Ups focuses on intimate group sizes, pinpointed discussions, and productive interaction with our team leaders, and typically ending with a fun group activity.

JAY08491At the Park City Link-Up, a collection of advertisers including Black Diamond, Woombikes, and of course Skullcandy all attended. We also had Two Wheeling Tots, SheShreds, and Upsellit as participating network affiliates, and Backbone Media, POC, and Purple Mattress as business development prospects. The event began with, CEO Scott Kalbach, giving a positive overview of AvanLink’s success and position in the market. Members of our software team, Andy Benton, and Jon Stoddart provided a high-level overview of the AvantLink Platform, Arches. Lastly, director of account development, Matt Robinson, led a great open forum roundtable discussion on content strategies for staying competitive in the market.

JAY08517The event wrapped up with a fun Amazing Race style contest centered around Bike Building. Thanks to Woombikes, we scored generous deals on four bikes for the competition. Participants were split up into four teams for a race to assemble their bike the fastest. With the help of FreeBikes4Kidz, AvantLink donated the bikes to the Park City Peace House. Our goal is to end every Link-Up event with an exciting activity that has a philanthropic component to it.

We are going to try and execute 3 to 4 annual AvantLink-Up events spread throughout the country, so stay tuned for a Link-Up near you in 2020!
